What we collect

We collect what you choose to share when you call, text, email or fill in a form on this site: your name, phone number, email, vehicle details, address (for mobile service), any photos you send and your message.

Why we collect it

We use it to answer you, give you a quote, book your appointment, do the work and follow up on it, including your guarantee.

Who sees it

Our team sees it. So do the companies that help us run the business, such as our website host, which receives form submissions for us, and our phone, text and email providers. We don’t sell your information.

This website

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and buttons people use, so we can make the site easier to use. It sets cookies in your browser and receives your approximate location, your device and browser, the pages you view and the buttons you tap (such as call, text, email and the quote steps). It never receives your name, phone number, email, VIN or address, and we turn off Google’s ad personalization features. If you’d rather not be counted, you can use Google’s opt-out add-on or your browser’s privacy settings. Fonts on this site are served from our own website.

We also use Microsoft Clarity to see how people use the pages: where they tap and scroll, and short recordings of visits. Anything typed into a form is hidden from those recordings, and the private links in our quote emails and texts are never recorded.

Your quote answers on your device

So you can pick up where you left off, the quote form keeps your answers (your vehicle, VIN, glass, where you want it done, your address and contact details) in your own browser, on your own phone or computer. They stay there for 48 hours after you last use the form and are cleared when you send your booking request. This saved copy stays on your device and is not sent to us. To clear it sooner, tap “Start over” on the quote page or clear your browser’s site data.

Advertising

We may use the basic contact details you give us (such as your phone number or email) to show you our ads, and to find people like our clients, on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. Details are shared in a scrambled (hashed) form, for matching only. If you’d rather we didn’t, call us at 587-966-7636 and we’ll remove you from these audiences.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Email quotes@aztecautoglass.ca or call 587-966-7636.
