How we decide if a chip can be repaired
A stone chip, bullseye or star-shaped break needs a look before we pick the service. We check:
- The size of the damage
- How deep it goes
- Where it is on the windshield
- Whether any cracks run out from the point of impact
A clear photo shows us the shape and position of the chip, but it can’t replace an inspection. Tell us how long the chip has been there and whether it has changed.

What we repair, and what we don’t

Do you repair chips at my home or work?
No. Chip repair is done at our shop locations, our Airdrie shop and our Calgary Downtown location. If your windshield needs replacing, our mobile service comes to you.
Can you repair a crack?
No. We don’t repair cracks. Small chips can often be repaired, but anything bigger than a loonie usually can’t, and most cracks fall into that group, so the windshield needs to be replaced. Send us a photo and we’ll tell you honestly which one you need.
Do I pay before the appointment?
No. You pay after the work is done, by card, cash or e-transfer. The one exception is when your glass has to be ordered in. In that case we take a small deposit.
